Join us at our Michigan State Advocacy Day in Lansing!
The Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter is inviting you to join us for our annual State Advocacy Day in Lansing on Tuesday, May 7 from 9:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.
At Michigan State Advocacy Day, you can speak with state senators and representatives about the needs of those living with dementia and their families, raise awareness about Alzheimer's and related dementias among all legislators and state agencies, share your story of your family's journey with Alzheimer's or a related dementia with your state legislator and ask for their support.
Tentative agenda :
Coffee and Registration – 9:00 a.m.
Event Begins - 9:30 a.m.
Legislative Training – 10:00 a.m.
Lunch – 11:30 a.m.
House and Senate Legislative Meetings – 12:00 p.m.
Capitol Event and Awards Presentation in Heritage Hall – 2:30 p.m.
Depart Lansing – 3:00 p.m.
