News and Announcements

DETAILS FOR WALK DAY:

Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's at the upcoming North County Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, September 21st at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.  Together, we'll walk and raise funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. And together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.

Get ready for an inspiring and safe Walk day with the information below.

Address:

Kit Carson Park, 3333 Bear Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92025

Location:

From Bear Valley Parkway, enter the park at Mary Lane/Kit Carson Park. Drive until you come to the T in the road. You will see a brown wooden arch and a sign that says Eagle Scout Lake. This is where you will enter the event site (on foot after you park). There is parking directly to the right/north of the T. No parking for Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants in the Sports Center lot. Once you have parked, follow the path near the brown arch and Eagle Scout Lake to the walk site (just next to the right of the lake). There is additional parking in the northern and southern lots in Kit Carson Park.

Promise Garden Flowers - Promise Flowers will be available at the Walk. Come by the Promise Flower Garden Booth on Walk day and pick out your flower. We will also have markers available to personalize your flower.

Champion Club Area - If you are a Champion fundraiser, raising $500 or more, come visit the Champions area to be celebrated, pick up your medal, take a picture and grab a special treat.
