An Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis can be overwhelming. Now, the Dementia Care Navigation Service, powered by Rippl and the Alzheimer’s Association®, is available in your community. From the time of diagnosis, this new service is here to help make the dementia care journey a little easier — guiding people and their caregivers. CHAMPIONS! Visit our Champion's Club tent if you have raised $500 or more by Walk Day! You will enjoy some special recognition and a couple of extra special treats from Bennison's Bakery!

CAREGIVER STATION: Are you a caregiver? Visit our Caregiver Station by the Sigma Kappa tent for some Walk Day pampering!

TOP TEAM TENTS: If you raise $5000 as a team by August 25th, you will earn a 10x10 tent for your team to gather. Look for special treats provided at your tent by Bar Siena!

REFRESHMENTS: Once Upon a Bagel will be back this year with bagels! Visit our refreshment area! Coffee will also be provided by Starbucks!

The land on which the Walk to End Alzheimer's - North Shore will take place onincludes the traditional homelands of the Council of the Three Fires: Odawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi as well as the Ho-Chunk, Illinois, Inoka, Kickapoo, Miami, Menominee, Peoria, Sac, and Fox Nations. We acknowledge the ground on which our Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place on so that all who work and partner with us know that we recognize our responsibilities to the peoples of that land and that we strive to address that history so that it guides our work in the present and the future. The Alzheimer's Association recognizes the importance of remembering which is why we remember and honor the original stewards of the lands we Walk to End Alzheimer's on.
