Our Goal

The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. This year’s event won’t be a large in-person gathering — instead, we invite you to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we are all still walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

News and Announcements

Thank you for your support for this year’s Walk!

I’m excited to let you know about all of the great plans that are in place for this year’s Walk.  We will still be walking on October 24, 2020 but things will look a little different. There will be three easy components. First, all teams are invited to view the Walk Opening and Promise Garden Ceremony, next, everyone will walk in their own neighborhoods with their family and friends. Finally, we will have a drive thru view only Promise Garden in our community for you to enjoy.  The location will be announced as soon as details are confirmed.

If you have any questions about the new Walk Day Experience details, please contact Dena Oneal at dkoneal@alz.org or 615-622-4170.

Thank you for your support of the Alzheimer's Association. Your assistance will help us lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other Dementia.
