Our Goal

The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. This year’s event won’t be a large in-person gathering — instead, we invite you to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we are all still walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

How to Participate

1. Register for your local Walk.

Sign up as a Team Captain, team member or individual.

2. Start fundraising and spread the word.

We'll provide tips and coaching every step of the way, including easy ways to raise funds online.

3. Join us on Walk day.

Take part in an interactive online experience, then walk in your community.

This year, we're bringing you new and exciting ways to experience the event.

Log in to Mainstage, the event's interactive online experience. Livestream the Opening and Promise Garden Ceremony.

Walk in your neighborhood, on any sidewalk, track or trail. Download the Walk to End Alzheimer's app to track your steps and receive messages of support along your route.

News and Announcements

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s website allows participants registered for a 2020 Walk event to log in to their participant center and set up a ‘Facebook Fundraiser’. All donations received through Facebook will credit your fundraising page directly!

Avoid delays by downloading the Walk to End Alzheimer's app and uploading checks yourself! We’re excited to continue the use of the Mobile Check Deposit, a feature that has been added to our mobile app for iPhone and Android users. Use the Walk to End Alzheimer’s app to scan any check donations you receive toward your fundraising efforts, and have them immediately added to your page and deposited to the Alzheimer's Association! Click here to learn how to use this feature!


Join Our Committee or Become a Volunteer

Committee members plan each Walk to End Alzheimer’s event from the kick-off to the appreciation party. Some committee members focus on growing our event by recruiting teams, sharing Walk materials in the community, and securing sponsorships. Others focus on event production and enhancing the participant experience.
