Why We Walk:

Throughout our communities, scores of people and their families are touched by Alzheimer's disease. In America alone, there are more than 6 million adults now living with this devastating disease. They are our parents, our grandparents, our siblings, friends, and fellow citizens - and that is why we walk.

At Comfort Keepers®, we are especially sympathetic to those suffering with Alzheimer's disease. Our franchisees work each day to treat their clients with respect and dignity and live out our mission by supplying companionship, keeping them safe, and caring for them like they are members of their own families. Sadly, many of our franchisees' beloved clients are the victims of Alzheimer's, and that, too, is why we walk.

Because of the unique nature of our business, we feel especially honored to be a Walk to End Alzheimer's® National Team. Each year, we assemble Comfort Keepers teams across the country to raise funds for research, support, care, and treatment. It is a united effort shared between the Comfort Keepers network and the Alzheimer's Association something we can all do together as we work toward the goal of wiping out a disease that robs the lives of so many.

We've raised funds before, and will do it again. That is why I am proud of the Comfort Keepers franchisees and their employees, the CKFI employees who support them, and our local communities. We are all dedicated to this important cause. That is why we walk.
