This year, my story is different. My flower is different. But my goal hasn't changed.
This year, I carry a yellow flower for my Dad, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in December 2021. He was 67 at the time. He is the son of my Grandmom who had Early Onset Alzheimer's and passed away at age 68. And my Aunt Judy, his sister, has EOAD and was diagnosed in her early 60's.
I still walk in memory of my Grandmom, Celia. But my fight grows stronger for those who are still here. Those who have a chance. Because the first Alzheimer's survivor is out there. And we are going to find them!
