Brookdale of Williamsburg is selling cookies, $4/dozen, to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Flavors include chocolate chip, red, white & blue, and their signature lemon cookies. Email order to email@example.com by noon on July 22. Cookies will be ready to be picked up by 6:00 PM on July 26.
Mon, July 29 - 11:00 AM– 5:00 PM – Nails Uptown – Williamsburg Crossing
Treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure and 20% percent of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition, a donation of any amount enters you into a raffle for gift baskets provided by Nails Uptown.
Sat, Aug 3 - 2:00 PM – I’ll Be Me documentary – JCC Recreation Center
Commonwealth Senior Living at Williamsburg will host a screening of the award-winning documentary, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which follows country music legend Glenn Campbell and his family as they navigate his journey with Alzheimer’s during his farewell tour. The screening takes place at the JCC Recreation Center located at 5301 Longhill Rd. in Williamsburg. Seats are limited so please RSVP to Alethea or Gerry at 757 564-4433 by August 1. This event is free and open to the public but donations are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
Tues, Sept 3 – 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Aqua Zumbathon – New Town Pool
Come to the New Town Pool, located at the intersection of Elizabeth Davis and Center Street in New Town, for Aqua Zumbathon! A light dinner will be available after the event, and raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. This event is free and open to the public but donations are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
Thurs, Sept 19 – 6:30 PM–9:30 PM – Cornhole for a Cause – Sportsman’s Grille
