T-Shirt Pick Up/Bank Day:

When: Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 12-7 p.m.

Where: Alzheimer's Association Office, 6425 NW Cache Rd., Ste. 102 (Inside IBC Bank building)

What: Team Captains and individuals can turn in donations and pick up their event t-shirts. Champions and Grand Champions can pick up their t-shirts and cowbells.

T-Shirt Policy:

Every registered Walk participant that raises $100 or more will receive an official 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's T-shirt.

For teams, T-shirts are distributed based on the amount of money they raise, capped by the number of registered participants on the team. For example, a team of 10 that raises $800 would get eight shirts. A team of 10 that raises $1,200 would get 10 shirts.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) What if it rains on the day of the walk (Saturday, August 25th)?

We will hold the event in rain or shine. Only severe storms or lightning will cause us to cancel and we will post a cancellation on Social Media. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. and the ceremony will start at 9:00 a.m. with the walk immediately after.

2) Can someone else can pick up my t-shirt & packet?

Yes, it's easier to have one person pick up the materials for an entire team. You can have a team member or spouse pick up your materials by simply providing a name or an entire team's name at packet pick-up or registration the morning of the walk. 

3) What if we can't make it to the Alzheimer's Association office packet pick up on Thursday, August 23?

You can still get your t-shirts and all important information at registration the morning of the walk. We are opening registration at 7:30 a.m. 

4) Where do we park at Elmer Thomas Park?

There are many parking lots near the event site on the southeast side of Elmer Thomas Park.

5) Is there a registration fee to walk? 

No, but we do hope that every walker will help to raise funds for the cause. Raise $100 to earn your official 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's T-shirt!

6) Is it too late to raise money? 

No! You can still earn your t-shirt plus we will have new incentives after the Walk.  We will continue to raise money through December 31st, 2018, hoping for every opportunity to END this disease. Watch our progress at swokwalk.org!
