I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
WHY I WALK:: I walk to remember the yesterdays of those who cannot recall their own.
I walk in solidarity with those whose lives are profoundly altered by the cognitive departure of loved ones.
I walk so that loved ones may no longer leave us twice.
I walk because dementia and Alzheimer’s are stealth thieves who rob not only cognition, but vibrance and dignity.
I walk to increase awareness of this debilitating disease, and to raise funds to advance medical research.
I walk because I am grateful to those whom are entrusted to care for loved ones with understanding, patience, and compassion.
I walk because I am inspired by others.
I walk because I love.
Thank you so very much!
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
