Welcome to our team District 5810 page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® in the Colony on September 28, 2024. These walks are large events to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. They are held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year. 

Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. So far numerous Rotary clubs in District 5810 have contributed, and we are well on our way to our goal of $5,000. District Governor Regina Edwards' husband Ken Edwards selected this charity as the "DG spouse's charity" as it is dear to his heart. Both his mother and grandmother died of complications from Alzheimer's after suffering many years.
