JOIN STARVIN'S ARMY!
It's been nearly 5 years now since Marvin's diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's, about 5-1/2 years since dementia was confirmed. He's currently in the moderate stage and it is progressing, so we continue to fight for a cure.
This year we have two opportunities to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association!
Marvin loves music, and we couldn't think of a better way to raise funds that with a concert by Sarah & Friends!
On SATURDAY, AUGUST 24 at Corner Coffee in Camden, Sarah & friends will be delighting everyone with songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, and other musical favorites! Coffee, beverages, and refreshments will be served.
- Where: Corner Coffee Camden (4155 N Thomas Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55412)
- When: Saturday, August 24, 7 - 9 pm
- Coffee, beverages, & refreshments will be served
If you can't attend the concert, then you're welcome to join us for a walk on Saturday, September 28. This year my amazing sister-in-law Kari has volunteered to host the walk from her place in Monticello. Email me for directions (JustMarBrenAnd@gmail.com).
- 9:30 A.M. - Refreshments & Coffee
- 10:00 A.M. - WALK BEGINS
- Post-Walk - Light Lunch Served
- Purple is the official color of Alzheimer's, so wear purple to show your support.
- Bring a chair
