Our Team Story
In the past five years, the Fort Wayne Duplicate Bridge Club has raised more than $82,000 for the Alzheimer's Association's research and free services in our area for those with Alzheimer's or other dementias and their caregivers. We have given because most of us have known or cared for someone with this dread disease. You probably have too.
On June 21, our Club will again host a Longest Day party and fundraiser with special bridge games, a silent auction, and a raffle on behalf of the Alzheimer's Association. Whatever funds this event brings in, we'll need still more from our players and other donors to meet our goal of raising at least $15,000 in 2023. The amount we give will directly influence funding for free services in our area such as a 24/7 helpline, support groups, educational programs and more.
