The Longest Day is the day of the year with the most light -- the summer solstice. And it's the day I have committed to fight Alzheimer's disease! I'm participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

My Dad's ALZ journey ended on November 2, 2021, so this will be my first event in his memory. My friends at All Things Fun Sports have partnered with the Alzheimer's Association for the June 18th Summer Soltice-The Longest Day 5k trail run or flat course walk to be held in Puyallup. You can support my fight for a cure with a donation or by coming out and participating in our event, the course is beautiful and can be done virtually if you are too far away to be in person.
