As many of you know my dad battled Alzheimer's for the last 10-12 years (what mom and I call his "Journey") and his journey ended 2017. We are so sad that he is no longer with us, but we know he is finally at peace.
I'm doing this walk for him. He has always supported me and now it's my time to support him, even if he is gone. Every little bit helps, no donation is too small. I am so grateful for all of the friends and family who have supported me over the years while I WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S. We are also thankful for the friendships and support we have gotten through the walk and the association.
Help support my team "The Journey" so we can help put an END ALZHEIMER'S.
I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2017 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
