This will be my 22nd or 23rd year (I've lost count!) walking to end Alzheimer’s, the devastating disease which leads to loss of cognitive function and independent living and is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. There is currently no cure for this cruel disease. This year I am again walking for two cousins, both named Ernie. Both men were vibrant and enjoyed life. No one could ever imagine either of them becoming a shell of who they each once were.
There are great strides being made every day to treat and prevent Alzheimer's. But we are not done with it yet. Funds are needed to continue the work towards prevention and a cure. Please help with a donation. No amount is too small. It all adds up. We can all be part of what makes difference in the lives of so many... patients, caregivers, families... most we don't know and may never meet, some may be our own wonderful relatives or friends.
Let's work together to help stop Alzheimer's from stealing any more of our loved ones. Please donate.
Stay safe, stay well, appreciate the good in life, and enjoy every moment with your loved ones.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
