Why I Ride: As most of you know, our beloved Susan, my wife, our daughter's mother, sister and aunt to our niece and many nephews passed away on August 26 after a 5-yr battle with early onset Alzheimer's. Susan was much too young and had so much to more to live for. I am determined to do everything I can to help support the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease, so that other families can be spared this pain.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
