Promise Garden Challenge Week

Promise Garden Key: Orange-Supporter of our mission; Purple-Lost someone to the disease; Yellow-Caring for someone with the disease; Blue-Living with the disease

,

To get ready for a matching gift challenge starting on August 11, we want to help set you up for fundraising success. Each day the week of August 6-10, 2018, we are challenging you to take an action to grow the Walk to End Alzheiemr's Promise Garden, and to make your fundraising a success!

Make sure to clear the ground (and some time on your calendar) to complete the challenge each day to grow the Walk Promise Garden!

Monday:  Gardens need sunlight to grow, so shine the light on your Promise Garden color by customizing your page with why you walk, and we will send you a Walk to End Alzheimer’s notebook to keep track of all the reasons you walk.

Tuesday: Plant new Promise Garden seeds by using the email function in your participant center to recruit new team members. Every new team member will receive an “ask me about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s” button.

Wednesday: Water your Promise Garden by making a donation to your team and receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s car magnet to show off your support.

Thursday: Having trouble developing your green thumb? Consult the internet for help and receive more recruitment and fundraising resources by downloading the Walk mobile app; search for “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” in the Apple App store or Google Play. Everyone who downloads the app will receive a tote bag for while they’re on the go.

Friday: Watch your garden grown by connecting your walk page to a Facebook fundraiser and receive a Walk luggage tag.

Are you up to the challenge of sowing the seeds of awareness for the Walk to End Alzheimer's? Take these easy actions each day next week and you'll be set to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's and other dementia care, support, and research efforts!

Thank you,

Walk to End Alzheimer's Team
