I am the daughter of proud parents, Tripp and Jenifer Amos and was born and raised right here in Columbus, Georgia. I am wrapping up my senior year at Brookstone School and plan to attend Mercer University in the fall where I will pursue a degree in Business Marketing. I am excited to see where this next season of life will take me.
Much of my time and energy is focused on serving as the editor of the Brookstone yearbook and working hard to see that project successfully completed, but I also enjoy spending time at The Corner Student Ministry at St. Luke Church and I love to dance. Whether I’m leaping across the River Center stage, getting the Cougar crowd pumped up on a Friday night, or simply rocking it out at home with my dad, dancing is one of my passion.
I love the Dancing Stars of Columbus event and have been blessed to be in the audience a number of times. My father has won the People’s Choice Award, and I have had multiple cousins compete as well. Our family is committed to the Alzheimer’s Association because we have been personally impacted by this devastating disease. I have watched 3 great-grandparents suffer and eventually lose their battles with dementia. This experience makes me thankful for the resources that this organization offers our community, and I am honored to be a part of the effort to help raise funds so they can continue to support patients caretakers that are battling this disease. The statistic are overwhelming, but I find hope in the research that predicts that the first survivor of Alzheimer’s is living within my generation. This is a great cause that I hope you will consider supporting. I appreciate you enthusiasm, encouragement, and of course, your donation. Every dollar counts. Vote for me!
