For 17 years, John Clark has been doing long distance cycling rides to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter. He conceived of this unique project to honor the memory of his beloved mother, Ruth Vivian Clark, who passed away from Alzheimer's disease in 2004. In 2015, however, John "shifted his gears" by taking on a new role - that of mentoring new cyclists who will continue to support this tradition. The legacy of the event has expanded to enlist cyclists throughout the state to raise critically needed funds in support of the Alzheimer's Association's mission to provide caregiver support, education, awareness, and research.

If you would like to raise funds by organizing a ride of your own, register today! You can register a team or ride as an individual. Choose a location, pick a time, set a goal and collect donations by reaching out to friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Most of all, HAVE FUN!
