JOHN's Walk Donation Page
This is my First year walking in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. I am walking in honor of my mom Joan Dixon who passed earlier this year after living her past 5 years with Alzheimer’s.
My mom was the BEST ever. I truly miss hearing her laughter and seeing her most beautiful smile. We had many fun memories together through her lifetime. We also lost her mother (my grandmother) to Alzheimer’s. So I am sure hoping it passes my generation and we find a cure for this disease very soon.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. That is why I am supporting and walking this year.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Your donation will help us in our goal to find a cure. And research means lots of money. This is the only disease, funded by the NIH that HAS NO CURE. Please join me in changing that.
Thank You for your support.
