Company Description

Why We Walk: because of this comment from one of our amazing AT&T Ability Members: "I have been the primary caretaker for my mom for nine years as she continues to suffer from dementia. I have never felt so alone in my life. When I read what is currently out there, it brought tears to my eyes. I had no idea that support like that was available! I am delighted to participate in this effort to spread the word so others do not have to travel the road alone. "

AT&T Ability's mission is to support our fellow employees, their families and the Community dealing with the challenges of a disability and/or the special support requirements of being a Caregiver. Our long term partnership with The Alzheimer's Association reflects our Members' dedication to supporting the efforts of this amazing organization.

Alzheimer's Disease affects over 6 Million Americans and is the 6th Leading Cause of Death in the U.S. In 2013, 15.5 million Caregivers provided an estimated 17.7 billion hours of unpaid care valued at more than $220 billion. In joining The Walk to End Alzheimer's®, supported by the AT&T Ability National Team, you are an important part of the effort dedicated to partnering with The Alzheimer's Association generating awareness, support, funding and fellowship within AT&T as well as the outside Community.

As a participant in the AT&T Ability Walk to End Alzheimer's National Team, you will help raise funds for Walks around the country and will earn recognition for AT&T Ability and our Company. The funds raised through these walks will help with the fight against Alzheimer's through vital research, advocacy efforts and essential support programs and services in your local community. AT&T Ability's National Team donations play an important part in improving the lives of people living with Alzheimer's, their families, caregivers and most likely your own AT&T co-workers.

Join The Walk to End Alzheimer's and our National AT&T Ability Team to meet great people, take part in fun and rewarding events and to be a part of this amazing Cause.
