Your participation fuels the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association^® through the South Carolina Chapter — and we also reward you for your efforts!

EVENT T-SHIRT
Every Group Ride participant will receive our exclusive 2024 commemorative t-shirt. Virtual Challenge participants who reach the suggested fundraising goal of $255 will also receive our exclusive 2024 t-shirt! 

CYCLING GEAR 
There is a $750 fundraising minimum in order to participate in the Group Ride. All Group Ride participants earn a jersey and additional gear based on reaching fundraising milestones. Virtual Challenge riders may also earn the jersey and other gear by reaching fundraising milestones. 

FUNDRAISING MILESTONES

• $750 earns the official 2024 Hincapie jersey (your choice of Velocity Race Cut or Axis Club Cut) 
• $1,500 earns matching shorts or bibshorts (your choice of Velocity Race Cut or Axis Club Cut)
• $1,750 earns matching cycling socks
• $2,000 earns matching cycling gloves OR a matching cycling cap (choose one item)
• $2,500 earns matching cycling vest OR puffer vest (choose one item)

To get your gear at Packet Pick-Up (including jersey), fundraising milestones must be reached by May 1, 2024. The final deadline to earn incentive gear or other top fundraising prizes will be July 31, 2024, after which gear will be ordered and shipped to participants in October, 2024.

Platinum Passport Program  

The Platinum Passport Program is a nationwide rewards program for all Ride to End ALZ participants. Riders who raise $5,000 or more in the Ride to End ALZ South Carolina (single event fundraising, not cumulative fundraising totals) are invited to participate in any other Ride to End ALZ events for the next year without having to meet the event's fundraising requirement. FUNDRAISING TIPS AND TOOLS

Once you register, you will have access to a personal fundraising webpage and fundraising tools in your Participant Center (also known as the Ride Hub). Your fundraising webpage makes it easy for donors to make a donation toward your efforts and track your fundraising progress over the next few months. The ALZ Fundraising app is an easy way to fundraise and track your progress from a mobile device.

Set or edit your fundraising goal
Group Ride participants should set their goal for at least $750 in order to reach the fundraising minimum and earn the 2024 exclusive jersey. We recommend Virtual Ride participants set their goal for at least $255. We encourage you to set your goal higher so that you can earn all of the exclusive cycling gear and make a lasting impact on the cause to #ENDALZ!

Build your personal webpage
When you customize your webpage, be sure to highlight why you're supporting the Alzhiemer's Association and this important cause. Use pictures to add a visual component to your fundraising page. If you are riding in honor or memory of a loved one, consider posting a picture of you with that person.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser.
Statistics show that social media is an excellent tool to raise awareness and engage support for your participation in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina. Look for the Facebook Fundraiser link in your Ride Hub!

Be the first to contribute
Once you are registered to ride, your easiest pledge will come from yourself. It is always easier to ask others if you have already demonstrated your commitment to your goal with a personal donation.

Text or Email your contacts using our fundraising templates
We've made it easy for you to spread the word about your fundraising efforts: Send text messages with a link to your personal fundraising page through the ALZ Fundraising app, as well as email your potential donors with a link to donate using the templates in the Ride Hub or the ALZ app.

Access mobile deposit
Checks you receive for your fundraising efforts can be deposited using the Ride to End ALZ mobile app. Use your smartphone to access the app, enter some info, take a pic, and you have a mobile deposit! All donations deposited using the Ride app mobile check deposit will instantly be added to your fundraising page.
