Team Purple is for solo riders or any rider not participating with a team. Joining offers the chance to meet other riders and experience the team dynamic before and during the Ride to End ALZ South Carolina.

Meet your Team Purple Captain David Speight!

David has been a part of Ride to End ALZ South Carolina since 2016 and served as a Ride Ambassador for the past three years. He's an engineer by day and an endurance athlete in his spare time. He loves this event for its mix of endurance, camaraderie, and making a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's. He says this ride is even more enjoyable for him if he's able to help other riders along the way. David lives near Greenville, South Carolina. Already registered and want to join Team Purple? Simply login to your Ride Hub. On the Dashboard, click the link that says "Join a Team?" and select Team Purple. You'll then be an official member of Team Purple!
