Opinions vary on Alzheimer's disease drug trial results
The pharmaceutical company Biogen has announced they are taking its data on the experimental drug aducanumab to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for review early next year. Alzheimer's Association Chief Science Officer Maria Carrillo, Ph.D., says, "This is an important moment for the Alzheimer's field." The Association looks forward to review of the data by the scientific community and the FDA.

Man living with Alzheimer's wants doctors to understand importance of diagnosis
Keith Moreland was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2018 at age 57. A member of the Alzheimer's Association National Early-Stage Advisors Group, Moreland wants to help doctors understand the importance of disclosing an Alzheimer's diagnosis and direct other families to the best resources.
