Elaine Kretz, the beloved wife of Ed Kretz Jr., was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in March of 2006. From that moment, until the day he died, Ed made it his purpose to love and care for Elaine. Anyone that knew the two of them continue to comment on how amazing he was at caring for her and how deep his love was for her. He would comment often about how he couldn't stand to see her suffer with this disease. We know that more than anything, he would have wanted to see a cure for this awful disease.
