A wonderful September Day. Friends coming together to raise money. My first time as Team Captain and we had a blast. We raised over $5000 but more importantly, made new and good friends!

Mom's Alzheimer's was with us, but we were still having a wonderful time. About 8 months after this photo was taken, Mom took a huge turn for the worse and went from Stage 2 to Stage 7 within a few months.

This is one of my favorite photos. I still have Mom's wedding dress. My dad was sick, but you can't tell. In sickness and in health means something. They are proof.

Mom had been diagnosed, but her medication had masked the symptoms and they were having a great time in Disneyland with their granddaughter. Two more grandkids would follow.
