The Luther Taylor Tribute Fund

My grandfather, Luther Gilford Taylor, lost his over 7 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease in the fall of 1992. Luther Taylor was loved by all friends and family and years left behind a wife, daughter, three sons and several grandchildren.

To honor his memory, I will be competing in several Triathlon and Racing events in honor of the Alzheimer's Association. I'm supporting the cause and raising funds to help fund research, support and resources for those affected by the disease. It is my goal to contribute to early diagnosis and cure for the disease rated as the 7th highest cause for death among Americans.

On September 27th, 2009, I will be racing in my first Triathlon, the Escape to Miami Triathlon in Biscayne, Fl . This is a 400 meter swim, 13 mile bike and 3.1 mile run.
My goal is to compete in four more triathlons before the end of 2009 and raise a total of $5000 for the cause by year's end.

I know these are challenging times for everyone, but please know that even the smallest amount is appreciated and that every dollar counts.
