Save The Date-October 4, 2014

Our daddy lived each day with Faith that God was in control, so in 2012 as he was suffering from Alzheimer's, we formed the Walking by Faith team and participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Paris. In 2013, Paris did not have a walk so in an effort to continue Walking by Faith, we had a day at the farm (Bugtussle). We had a GREAT day with over 78 people attending. We walked, sang, ate, and shared a lot of memories along with raising over $6000 for a great cause. As a way to continue honoring our Dad for all that he continues to mean to us, we are planning the 2nd Annual Bugtussle Walk/Singing to END ALZ. We hope many of you can join us on October 4, 2014 at 9:00 at the Oak Ridge tabernacle. We plan to walk from the tabernacle to Joe & Sylvia's home and back. Following the walk, we will have snacks and time for visiting and singing. Singing was one of the last things our Dad could remember and enjoy, so we are going to sing some of his favorite songs along with some of yours. We hope you can join us in honoring our dad and remembering all the other family and friends who have been or are currently being affected by Alzheimer's.
If you don't want to actually walk, please still join us for visiting & singing.
