Our Team Story

From the beginning of the ACBL and Alzheimer's Association partnership, volunteers across the DMV have come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's disease during The Longest Day. In the past six years, Bridge Heroes has raised over $120,000 playing bridge during the Longest Week. We have been the biggest fundraiser for the National Capital Area Chapter and have made significant contributions in helping ACBL raise over $7.7 million for care, support, and research efforts. 

For those who wish to do more to support the cause, please join the team and do your own fundraising. Feel free to reach out with any questions, for ideas, or support. Thank you for your continued commitment in the fight to end Alzheimer's and all dementia.

Together, we can use our passion for playing bridge to outshine the darkness of Alzheimer's disease and move us closer to a cure.
