2024 Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia

Hi!

My name is McKenzie Benefield - radio personality for Bob 106.9 + Rewind 107.9 as well as the in-arena host for the Savannah Ghost Pirates...most people know me as "Mac". I am honored to be participating in the 2024 Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia gala on May 18th, all benefits going towards the Alzheimer's Association! My Great Granny Wilder passed with Alzheimer's and we are currently seeing signs of early onset with other members of my family. I dance in their honor, as well as for everyone who experiences this and any other form of dementia - from patients, to family members and loved ones, to the selfless caregivers who are not given near enough credit for their dedication.

I would love for you to be a huge part of this, as we raise awareness and critical funds towards the association between now and the day of the event. We are one of the very few non-profit organizations that take proceeds and put it towards the work behind research, support and care for the cause (79% of proceeds, to be exact).  

For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide and we can all make a true difference for the future of those in the path of Alzheimer's!
