I moved to Columbus after high school to attend Columbus State University. I graduated from CSU and am currently on their Alumni Association Board and Chair of the Young Alumni Association. I am the Internal & External Team Engagement Manager for Synovus where I help manage all team appreciation and recognition, conferences and events, and community outreach efforts for our 5-state footprint. Before Synovus I was the Director of Community Development and Growth at the Greater Columbus GA Chamber of Commerce for almost 5 years. I enjoy traveling, reading, Duke basketball, Georgia football, good meals with great drinks, and quality time with loved ones. I have zero professional dance experience. The unprofessional dance experience would include a few local establishments on Broadway in downtown Columbus and as the great artist of my generation Nelly once said “you know dancing in front your mirror while you’re on the phone. Checkin’ your reflection”. I was happy to agree to this great cause because of the personal impact Alzheimer’s disease has had on me and people close to me. Both of my grandmothers and other close family members were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I’ve also witnessed the impact this disease has had on many of my friends’ families. Any amount of money or time that you can give towards this cause makes a difference and I would love if you could contribute to helping me make a huge difference. I am a very competitive person and will not go down without a fight in both raising money and awareness but definitely on the dance floor.
