2023 Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia

 A lifelong resident of Savannah, Cale spent much of his teen years living with his grandparents, helping his grandmother care for his grandfather. His grandfather who passed away in 1985, was experiencing the cognitive decline we now attribute to Alzheimer’s. Seeing the effects of Alzheimer’s at a young age left a lasting impression on Cale and instilled in him a desire to help others. 

Cale’s desire to always pay it forward has influenced every aspect of his life, including his business ventures and educational pursuits. While operating Club One, Cale witnessed many of the Club’s bartenders, entertainers, and regulars succumb to the AIDS epidemic in the late 80s and early 90s. During this time, Cale saw how important it is for local businesses to be involved with and give back to their community. 

Cale is also the CEO and Co-Founder of Creative Approach with Travis Sawyer and Mark Fountain.  Since opening its doors in 2004, they’ve operated with the belief that good business and doing good in the world aren’t mutually exclusive. They support causes close to their hearts each year, donating $100K annually through their Creative Cares initiative to over 100 non-profit organizations. Starting January 1, 2023, and ending May 20, 2023, Creative Approach will be donating 3% of all sales to the 2023 Alzheimer’s Dancing with the Stars Contest 

When Cale isn’t working and learning, he loves to stay active outdoors. He can often be found on the town with the girls—dogs Molly, Sally, and Holly. They are also his companions on many park and beach adventures, stealing the show and hearts alike wherever they go. Cale believes in living life to the fullest, never taking a second for granted, with a heart full of love for everyone and everything.
