Hi, my name is Tonda Booker, I am so honored to have been nominated for Dancing Stars of Augusta for Alzheimer's, a very important cause. I was born in Allendale SC, graduated from the University of South Carolina and Southern Wesleyan University finishing my education with an MBA in Marketing. After moving to Augusta over 20 years ago I married Troy Booker an Augusta native. We have 2 beautiful children Troy jr. 16 years old and Taylor 13 years old and we have our adorable dog, Trixie.
I'm a Top Producing Realtor and founder of the Tonda Booker Real Estate Team brokered at Meybohm Real Estate. For 2021 production, I was ranked as one of the Top 10 Meybohm Realtors in the entire CSRA. At my previous brokerage, I was the #1 agent 4 years in a row. I totally enjoy my Real Estate career It's my calling, It's so naturally Me! After my nonprofit career, I was a full-time entrepreneur and businesswoman which empowered my career in Real Estate.
I am excited to join this opportunity to raise money for Alzheimer's so so many reasons. My previous career was in non-profit fundraising as a United Way Executive Director, so I will get to revisit one of the favorite things I used to do and that's gathering resources for a true cause like Alzheimer's. My late grandmother Charity Riley, is another reason this event is so dear to me. I witness the decline of my grandmother's health as she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's many years ago I was just a young girl and really didn't understand the disease at that time. However today, I understand more about Alzheimer's, and as a previous United Way director and Director of Shiloh Community Center, I understand the need for Research dollars to provide enhancement for this condition. I am excited to be an impact no matter how small every single dime counts.
Soooo I am counting on all of my Sphere, my Family members, My Friends, and my Colleagues to join this effort in raising money for Alzheimer's and voting for me because we are all in this together!!!
