My name is Cha Cha Jordan Parmer and I am excited and honored to be participating in Dancing Stars of Columbus this year! Having a name like "Cha Cha", I believe I was born loving to dance. If I can help fund Alzheimer's research by dancing, count me in!
I was born and rasied in Columbus. After high school I moved to Phoenix Az. and attended Grand Canyon University. I have ridden hunter/jumper horses all my life and continued doing the same out west. In addtion to riding hunter/jumpers, I also found myself galloping race horses at Turf Paradise racetrack in Phoenix as an exercise girl.
In the mid 80's, I moved back to Columbus to raise my two children Dana and Jeremy. Loving where I grew up, I wanted to share that with my children. I worked for Travels by Donna for over 10 years as a Travel agent. I loved every minute of my time there. I met and married the love of my life, my husband Lamar Parmer. My husband is a veterinarian and up to the time he retired, he was referred to, by most families as their "other pediatrician". Lamar and I enjoyed Ballroom dancing for many years in the 1990's. I was also playing a lot of tennis through these years. In 1996, I was nationally ranked 20th by the USTA in the women's 40 and over division.
Currently, I am enjoying retirement with my husband and playing tennis while continuing to teach and ride horses at our farm in Hamilton, Ga.
VOTE for me and my terrific and talented partner Antione Patterson! This is such an honor to be participating in this event and I truly need your support in reaching my goal. Please buy tickets and donate to this amazing cause. Hope to see you during this wonderful and exciting event!
