Sally Key Bowden, daughter of Jack and Libbie Key, was born and raised in Columbus, GA. She attended Auburn University and LOVES the Tigers. She also loves The Lord.
After graduating college, heart for sharing the Gospel with middle and high school students led her to Memphis, TN, where she followed in the footsteps of her hero and older brother, Jack Key IV, working for Young Life.
After two years in Memphis, Sally was offered the position of Youth Director at her home church, St. Paul United Methodist. So, in 2017, she moved back home to Columbus, and has been working at St. Paul ever since.
In 2018, she married Phenix City Realtor, Brad Bowden. Sally and Brad just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary, and are enjoying married life in midtown with their two dogs, Aunt Pitty and Chloe.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia have affected Sally’s family as she watched her grandmother, Sylvia Powell, serve as caretaker for her mother (Sally’s great grandmother) for several years. Other relatives have suffered from Alzheimer’s, but Sally especially wants to shine a light on the caretakers.
She is dancing in honor of her grandmother, "Sissy", who continues to care for Alzheimer's patients as she volunteers at Respite Care, a ministry through St. Luke UMC. Sally can't wait to shake it on stage in May!
