2023 Dancing Stars of Columbus

My name is Michael Ernst, and I am thrilled to be supporting the Dancing Stars of Columbus and the Alzheimer's Association.  My motivation for this event stems from having watched my grandmother’s battle with Alzheimer’s. I am happy to donate my time and effort to help bring awareness to this disease. I appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone at the event. 

I am originally from Buffalo, NY, but have been a resident of Columbus since 2012. It was the Army that brought me here. I served over 10 years active duty as an Infantry Officer, with tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, I am a Financial Advisor at Stifel Financial Services and continue to serve in the Army Reserves. 

I met my wife, Danielle, here in Columbus and we now have two children together. We both enjoy giving back to our community.  Danielle is the Principal of North Columbus Elementary and serves on the Midtown Mingle Board. I serve on the CSU Athletic Foundation Board and the Columbus Development Advisory Council. Let’s all give back to this great organization. 

I have no professional dancing experience but look forward to the challenge!
