It's time to END ALZ! Rose and I have been working hard the past 8 years to put and end to this very difficult disease. Our team has been one of the top fund raisers for many of these years.
I have participated in the ADNE 3 study. This involved cognitive testing, MRIs and numerous PET Scans. I am presently involved in the ADNE 4 study. The purpose of this study is to look at the relationship between clinical, cognitive, imaging, genetic and biomarker tests to learn more about brain health and the full spectrum of Alzheimer’s disease from its earliest stages.
There are now 2 new drugs on the market to help slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Leqembi is thought to fight Alzheimer's by targeting the amyloid proteins and reducing existing amyloid brain plaque. I am presently receiving Leqembi infusions.
