Last October I lost my grandmother, Nana, to Alzheimer's. She was a great lady! She was always so happy to spend time with me, playing games and talking. She was a lot of fun and she made the best chocolate chip pie! I feel like Alzheimer's stole her away. It was slow at first, I just thought she was a little forgetful. But as time went on her struggle became really obvious. It was very sad to witness. My Pa took great care of Nana, but I am sure it wasn't easy. So, to honor her, and my grandpa too, I want to try to make a difference by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Too many people, more than 5 million Americans, have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. I want to help in the fight.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
