We have a name change for our WALK this year. It is now called San Juan County NM Walk To End Alzheimer’s. The WALK will be at Minium Park in Aztec, NM. The venue may change from year to year.
I lost my husband to Lewey Body Dementia in 2017. I still walk to help raise funds to help find a cure. Why? Because deaths from this disease are increasing rapidly and still NO CURE.
Our NM WALK funds mostly stay in our own state and are spent on research, caregiver support and education classes about the disease and how the caregiver and loved one affected can both deal with the journey of this disease
We HAVE to find a cure and we need everyone to just give a little to help in this fight. It is TRULY a fight for future generations.
