My Dad, Don Jackson, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's 6 years ago, just a few days shy of his 61st birthday. Helplessly watching your father deteriorate with this awful disease is agonizing. Our family deals with the frustrations and challenges this disease puts on him and all of us daily. Although I know it will not happen in his lifetime, I have faith that a cure will be found through continued research.
