I lost my wife, Sue, to Alzheimer's 14 years ago this coming Christmas, and I've chosen the Solano County Walk to End Alzheimer's as my way to fight this terrible disease. We're looking forward to an in-person walk at the beautiful Suisun City Marina on October 22nd. This is the tool I've chosen to fight this terrible disease, hoping to save my friends and loved ones the terrible, relentless experience of losing someone, bit by bit, over years.
Alzheimer's is the sixth leading killer in our country and arguably the most expensive disease to fight.. If we don't beat it, it will eventually bankrupt us. And so, as I do every year, I ask that you join me in fighting this terrible disease by donating whatever you can.
Together, we will one day see a world without Alzheimer's and other dementia.
