I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

I am involved in the Alzheimer's Association and participating in the Silicon Valley's Corporate Challenge because my beloved Aunt Sally has this horrid disease.  My uncle is her caretaker. My Aunt needs 24/7 care and can no longer live at home.  We always spent time together crafting and we can no longer do those things together.  I want to make a difference and raise money to help families like mine to afford the care and to find a cure for this awful disease.
