My Mom, Connie Mullins, was diagnosed with Dementia four years ago. Over the past four years she has slipped further and further away from us. She knows I am the person who cares for her, but can't always tell you that I am her daughter. We decided this year to walk in her honor because we are not sure how much longer we will have with her. I work from home and have been with her basically 24/7 for a year and a half. Watching her decline has been the hardest thing I have ever done.
