I am a member of Sigma Kappa at TCU, and together we are raising money in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. I am honored to be a part of an organization that supports a cause so close to my heart. I lost my grandma, Nancy List, to Alzheimers in 2019, and I miss her every day. Growing up in a different state than her meant that we did not see each other often, but the memories I have with her are ones that I will cherish forever. I remember our early morning walks with the dogs, spending countless hours with her in the kitchen, and how she stayed up late on Easter to fill all the eggs and hide them around the farm. As the years went by after her diagnosis, she grew less aware of these memories I have of us together, but I held onto them closely for the both of us. Memories truly do matter, and I am walking both to honor her life and to help find a cure for others suffering from the same disease. I am proud to be able to support this cause and I would greatly appreciate any donations!
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
