Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. It is important to remember that each number has a name, a story, and loved ones. My number 1 reason to finding Alzheimer's first survivor is my mom: Rita Sue.
My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia in 2016 and has quickly advanced in her need for more care and attention. After my step-dad passed away in May of last year (2020), my mom is now living in a full-time Memory Care community despite a clean bill of physical health. Each of the 5,000,000+ Americans who suffer from this disease have a story and deserve your help to END Alzheimer's.
Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining my mom and me in the fight against Alzheimer's!
