I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® in Albany, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's. As health care improves, people are living longer. The number strickened with Alzheimer's is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. The future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
You can do your part by helping me do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Or better yet - join the Trekkin' in Tempo team and walk with me! It's a short walk in beautiful Timber Linn Park in Albany. This team is being sponsored by Greater Albany Council PTA to show our support of the community in which we live.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
