I hope this note finds you enjoying your summer . We’ve just returned from a trip to Atlanta for my niece’s wedding. It was so nice to see my family members and be able to celebrate the day. We were able to visit with my Dad who- does have Alzheimer’s . Dad will soon be 96 and resides at Arbor Terrace in Dacula Georgia. They have done an excellent job in promoting a nurturing atmosphere for the residents. He has found a home.
I also want to acknowledge the care my three sisters - who reside in Georgia - have provided. I know it’s not easy and truly appreciate what you do.
2020 was a year that none of us can forget. We’re walking in 2021 and invite you to join us. Whether you join us In Person or Walk From Home, your participation makes a difference in the lives of those facing the disease.
Our extended family has also experienced Alzheimers and other forms of Dementia. Gary’s mom and dad ( Rosalie and Otto); Nancy’s Grandmother - Ella and our brother in law’s mom Rita Fosse. We walk in their honor in order that future generations won’t have to suffer the ravages of this disease.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's ® is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to ending this disease. Because like flowers, our participants don't stop when something's in their way. They keep raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia. The first survivor ( white flower) will be found - but not without each one of our collective efforts.
“Though those with Alzheimer’s might forget us, we as a society must remember them.”
Alzheimers will reach so many of us. Your contributions are truly appreciated. Let’s strive to be able to celebrate the End of ALZ.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
