As you know, my beautiful mother LENORE lost her battle with Alzheimer's five years ago on April 19th 2016. This year, on Sunday Nov 14th Alexander and I will be walking in memory of my mom on our team "Lenore's Leaders." Those of you that were fortunate enough to know her, know that she was the sweetest, kindness most genuine woman there ever was. My family watched my mom's progression of the disease over the course of 3 years and it is by far the saddest disease I have ever seen. Although she is not with us anymore, she was and will always be loved more than she could ever have imagined.
I will be walking to help reclaim the future for millions By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk on Team "Lenore's Leaders" to End Alzheimer's(R), I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care and support. I am reaching out to all of you that can help, to walk with me and help me raise funds so that one day this disease can have a survivors tent . Although the walk will be different this year and I will announce where my team will walk together at a later date, I am asking everyone to please register as soon as possible
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for all your support and I look forward to having as many of you that can help, walk and/or donate for this wonderful cause!http://act.alz.org/site/TR?fr_id=8910&pg=personal&px=9637260
