Although Jim does not have Alzheimer's, this organization has done a lot to help support Jim and me. Their research can also help towards treatments which will benefit Jim. Our Mild Cognitive Impairment Group supports anyone with dementia for one of many reasons. Since the beginning of this group 3 years ago, all of those with MCI have progressed beyond "mild" symptoms, including Jim. It is a very good moment when he looks as good as he did in the photo above, taken two years ago. The members of this group have become close friends now. We support one another 24/7, and get together socially as well as regular meetings. Our leaders, volunteers who have supported and guided us, are amazing human beings! The Alzheimers organization has provided us with meaningful workshops and resources to help us in our journey. We would appreciate your donations, but understand there are a lot of worthwhile causes, and we can't give to all of them.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
